Just FYI, I’ve been lurking… ThatOneGuy is my BIL, so I have read your blog for some time.
We face the same behaviour at our house. We have two lads who are momma’s boys. Just this week, our daughter found a miniature pinscher female (runt) who will grow to about 5 pounds. She was soooo cute. But, even the smell of her on our clothes sent the lads into a full on hissy…peeing on the carpet, digging in the garbage…. So we had to pass. It’s bad enough having kids who have attitude…I have freakin dogs who have attitude.
