Today can blow me. Hard.
You know how some say that deaths always happen in three? They could… I really have no idea; I’ve never experienced that. Instead my life is all about things breaking in threes.
1) The edges of my beloved MacBook are peeling off. It’s just cosmetic damage so not a complete tragedy, but it leaves sharp edges where my wrists rest which leaves me looking like a failed suicidal maniac. Awesome.
2) If you read my Twitter you’re aware that my scooter battery is dead. Which wouldn’t be so horrific, but my driving test was scheduled for today. I love my little scooter, but have had nothing but problems with it. I guess that’s what I get for buying a cheap scooter off the Internet. Double awesome.
3) And lastly, my microwave broke. I’m amazed the thing lasted this long. I should have ditched it years ago but it’s tiny and fits in my little kitchen. It may just be the first microwave ever! It used to live in my grandparents motor home… in the 80s. Now I have to try and find a small, inexpensive one that fits my midget kitchen. Triple awesome.
It could be much worse, I know. And those worse things? I’ll expect them tomorrow. Yay life.

I have this microwave in my closet of an apartment… its so nice. I know its from Wal*mart but its cheap and it works. Enjoy!
Our microwave groans and throws tantrums everytime we use it. I will use it until it gets up and walks away or dies. Whichever comes first.
This would do the trick for your MacBook:

Not that the shmancy MacBook cover wouldn’t do the trick, but instead of spending $50 for asthetics, an emery board or nail buffer cube might do the trick and you probably already have one or both of those options lying around your apartment. Just file down/smooth off the sharp edges that are cutting into your wrists. It might make the edges LOOK even worse than just having it look peely, but at least it will help prevent more scars.
Sorry there’s no easy, cheap fix for the other problems.
NOT YOUR PINK SCOOTER! Good luck with your test (if you ever get there!). You could always go out buy a battery and then return it after you’ve done your test… or possibly borrow one from a garage?
If you’re still covered under the macbook warranty they should fix it for free. It’s known defect, I’ve already had mine fixed once (a year ago) and need to send it in again but can’t bear to part with it right now.
Please tell me that you have wine at home for tonight! If not, that’s an immediate invitation to my house to help numb your pain.
Well, misery loves comedy.Just find that one person whose life, at this moment is more screwed up than yours. Then mock away. It’s cheaper than years of therapy. And quicker. With your biting wit and whiplash tongue, soon you’ll forget all your troubles.
Well at least your microwave wasn’t a 2-year old piece of shit from Target that had no excuse breaking so early into its pathetic little life. They don’t make things like they did in the 80’s.

You might want to try Craigslist for a cheap microwave. I’ve seen a bunch on there in my city, and I’m sure it’s a widespread phenomenon…
I’ve gotta a midget microwave from the future. You can have it.
I’m not sure what I would do if my Macbook got damaged…I’m sorry dude. But I guess at least you didn’t accidentally run over your Macbook with the scooter and damage it beyond repair. That would be really bad.
I kind of really don’t want to tell you that the almonds I brought you melted in the car.
Don’t file it, have Apple repair it, even out of warranty.

look on craigslist for a microwave. You can find a gently used one from this decade cheap!
If you own a white MacBook, you may be able to get the case fixed for free.
