Things I Learned This Weekend
December 13, 2009 at 10:42 PM
- Pants are bullshit.
- Yellow Tail Shiraz-Cabernet is my lifeblood.
- There is nothing sexier than an attentive and well-mannered date. NOTHING.
- Vodka tonics glow in the dark.
- Burlesque shows bring all the creepy men to the yard. And some of those men are awesome dancers.
- Snow is not made of glitter, no matter how much you want it to be.
- Cookie dough makes a delicious dinner, but will also be the reason your pants are too tight.
- Knowing there’s a light at the end of the tunnel is soooo cliche, but damn it feels good.
- Wearing boots over slipper socks can really be quite fashionable.
- Hookers are not appropriate holiday gifts.

Is it because hookers don’t come with gift receipts?
Vodka tonics really glow in the dark? Sweet! I’m going to use that instead of a nightlight!
Not that I use a nightlight. I’m way cooler than that. really. I am. Sorta. Ok, not at all.
Yay for the attentive, well-mannered date! If only all men realized the importance of paying attention…there would probably be a lot less single women.
Mmm … so many valuable lessons here. Number 10 especially hits home.
I TOTALLY AGREE ON #1
You left out something really really important about your attentive, well-mannerd date. Which really explains the attentive well-mannered behavior.
