The men who date me really deserve a Medal of Honor, because dating me is exactly like serving our country, only the survival rate is much lower.

“You know how I’m obsessed with making lists and Google docs?”
“Yeah, Sarah, I know.”
“Well, I created a Google doc for all of your good and bad qualities.”
“You did? I want to read it.”
“No. What if it hurts your feelings?”
“Sarah, it won’t. I promise.”
“Oh riiiight, because you don’t have any feelings… that’s already on the list.”

Oh dear. Now I’m wondering if I have a list.
I would totally date you if I weren’t married and into chicks.
Your list making is a reason to date you. Your honesty is another one.
Plus, dating is much easier when the parties involved love the fact that the other one is kind of an ass-hole. Like how I love you extra when you’re mean.
Sarah…reading your blog is now part of my morning start up routine, get to work, get a coffee and read your blog. So you need to stop slacking and start doing daily posts. I’m not sure I can start my day without a dose of your brutally honest humor. Thank You
I need to make this list for my husband, whom I love and adore…right?
Snort.
Reminds me of a friend who was torn between two guys. On an old-fashioned sheet of paper, we made side-by-side lists of their qualities with numerical ratings for the importance of each quality and…lost it somewhere on Main St. in our very small town. She’s currently living “happily ever after” with a guy wasn’t even on the list.
You were mentioned in one of my favorite bloggers today, Pioneer Woman by one of your friends, small internet world, isn’t it?
I too am very much obsessed with Google docs and making lists. I’m pretty sure we’re soul mates. Also related…I totally snuggled on a lonely pug while on a walk last time. Pretty sure it’s destiny!
